Coupon Discounts

Coupons are applied to invoices based on their duration:
  • ONCE: Applied to a single invoice
  • REPEATING: Applied to each invoice for durationInMonths billing cycles
Discount calculation:
  • FIXED: Absolute amount deducted (in cents)
  • PERCENTAGE: Percentage of invoice total
Each application creates a CouponUsage record.

Voucher Discounts

Vouchers (billing credits) are automatically applied to invoices by Stripe:
  • Credits deducted from the voucher balance
  • Each application creates a VoucherUsage record
  • Optional fee restrictions limit credits to specific fee invoices

Combined Discounts

Invoices can have both coupon and voucher discounts. The total discountAmount is the sum of all applied discounts.
